The story of and photographs produced by American publicity photographer, Murray Korman, in the late 1920s through his death in 1961 captivated both Clyde Adams and Maureen McCabe. Their vision was to create several books, websites, and possibly an exhibit in New York City, where Murray Korman's life story took place.
Clyde is co-author of Vintage Babes of Broadway: Through the Lens of 20th Century Photographer Murray Korman. The book features the life story of Korman, NYC's most popular photographer of his era, as well as photos and brief bios of some of his most famous subjects. Adams was captivated by the story and images produced by Murray Korman.
Adams was instrumental is saving the family's more than 600-photographic collection for posterity by digitizing the deteriorating negatives stored for decades. Clyde included his full book Murray Korman: The One Big Name along with the new pictorial montages in their new book, so people can enjoy the "full monty" that was Murray Korman.
Clyde authored Always a Marine, a book documenting his father's World War II experiences and Murray Korman: The One Big Name which is the extended life story about 20th Century Publicity photographer, Murray Korman.
